What's the first thing a juror does when you ask any question?
No matter who you're asking the question to, the juror's natural human response is to answer the question
- in their minds.
It's as if they're saying, "How would I have answered that?" If the answer on the stand matches their internal answer, then it must be true.
Can you structure the question so that get you the answer you want?
